A senior associate in our firm’s Employment Team, Sahar is an aggressive litigator that zealously defends employers in all aspects of employment and labor law. Her experience runs the gamut of employment litigation, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. She has litigated both single-plaintiff and class action claims, including PAGA lawsuits. Sahar has defended a variety of clients in high stakes litigation, including Fortune 500 and small businesses, private and public companies, entertainment and corporate clients, hospitality clients, and high-net-worth individuals.
In addition to her litigation practice, Sahar also advises on employee relations, hiring, employee separation, compliance with state and/or federal laws, wage and hour audits, and workplace safety matters. She assists with drafting employee handbooks, personnel policies, and various types of employment agreements. She also guides internal workplace investigations. She is also a frequent speaker on employment law topics and regularly conducts training seminars and programs for managers and employees in all areas of employment practices and policies, including sexual harassment and workplace violence.
As part of her practice, Sahar also stays ahead of the curve on the most pressing current employment law topics and is a frequent writer and contributor for legal publications and journals.
