GLENDALE, CA, (December 20, 2022) – Bradley, Gmelich + Wellerstein LLP, a litigation, business, and employment law firm located in Glendale, California, is pleased to announce the addition of five new litigation attorneys to the firm.

“We are excited to add new talent to our firm’s litigation team,” said Managing Partner Barry A. Bradley. “The expanded practice capabilities in professional liability, insurance defense, and commercial litigation will allow us to provide greater breadth and depth in our service offerings to our clients.”

Mark Kiefer Mark Kiefer is a Special Counsel in the professional liability team. His practice focuses primarily on defending medical, legal, and other professionals in malpractice litigation. His experience in the healthcare industry also includes skilled nursing facilities, home health care, detox centers, emergency medical transport, and sexual misconduct matters. Mark also has experience in premises liability, construction accidents, construction defects, toxic/environmental torts, product liability, transportation/trucking cases, business litigation, and a wide range of general civil liability matters. He has handled catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims involving significant exposures. Prior to joining BG+W, Mark was the Co-Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office of a statewide litigation firm. He served on the firm’s Board of Directors and was Co-Chair of the Firm’s Healthcare practice group. He is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating standard, given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.

Royce Huang Royce Y. Huang is a Special Counsel in the professional liability team. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including law and motion, discovery, depositions, expert discovery, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has defended claims involving significant exposure and has successfully secured numerous dismissals, judgments, and favorable settlements on behalf of his clients. His practice includes medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, elder abuse, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, automobile liability, construction defect, and other general civil liability matters. He also has experience in commercial and employment litigation. While at Loyola Law School, he was on the Dean’s Honor List and was a member of the St. Thomas Moore Law Honor Society. He was a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Dolly M. Gee at the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.

Brian Lee Brian Lee is an associate in the professional liability team and the litigation team. He focuses his practice squarely on medical malpractice litigation, as well as general liability. Brian defends doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare practitioners in a broad range of litigation matters. He earned his law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Brian served as an editor for Hastings Law Journal. Brian’s previous experience includes working as a prosecutor at a District Attorney’s office for several years, managing a heavy caseload, and trying several jury trials to verdict. Brian is licensed to practice in all California state courts. He is fluent in Korean.

Joe Mkryan Joe Mkryan is an associate in the litigation team at Bradley, Gmelich + Wellerstein LLP. His practice focuses on commercial and general litigation. An experienced trial lawyer, Joe represents companies in the defense of litigation matters including negligence, premises liability, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, officer and director liability, contract disputes, and other matters. During law school, he interned for the National Labor Relations Board where he investigated unfair labor practice charges by interviewing witnesses, analyzing support evidence, and preparing reports to the Board with recommendations for handling or disposing of charges. He was a senior associate for the Journal of International law at Santa Clara University School of Law and a writer for the Berkeley Political Review at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a writer for the Berkeley Political Review.

Sarah Hacobian is an associate in the litigation team at Bradley, Gmelich + Wellerstein LLP. Her practice focuses on counseling clients and litigating civil and business matters. She represents clients in complex litigation matters in the areas of real estate, contracts, business practices, labor and employment, personal injury, partnership disputes, and other commercial litigation cases. Sarah previously practiced and clerked with other Los Angeles County law firms. Prior to law school, Sarah worked in real estate and marketing. She is a graduate of Whittier Law School where she was on the Dean’s List. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. She is fluent in Armenian.
